Cast Offices

New real estate and construction consultancy Cast needed an office that would reflect their identity and promote quality and innovative construction methods. Located within a former industrial facility, the challenge was to create a variety of activity specific spaces within an irregular shaped perimeter lacking internal structural elements. Design practice Hawkins\Brown’s inventive approach was to create two feature walls – one arched to reflect archways found in British residential architecture – dividing the public and noisy open plan area from private spaces such as meeting rooms, break out areas and collaboration spaces. Fixed furniture was added to further subdivide the space into smaller work areas while also providing storage and display.
